Recruitment Process

Have a potential new client with tricky/international locations?

  1. Drop us an email with the proposed locations and we can provide numbers of existing assessors and identify any problems we may encounter.
  2.  If it is a new location, we can advise of any we have nearby that may help with initial numbers.

When can we start recruitment for new clients?

  1. Once all locations are confirmed by the client and any new locations have been set up on the system.
We cannot encourage new assessors to apply if the location is not set up for them to select when applying.

The Process:
We need a minimum of 6 weeks in order to effectively recruit for new clients.

Stage 1:

  1. Email existing assessors informing them of a new location.
    1. This will target assessors in nearby locations and include a referral fee.
  2. A post on socials and on the Assessor News Feed.
    1. This will advertise visits coming soon in the new location and include the same referral fee.

Stage 2 - 1 week after referral fees have been emailed:

  1. Locate free ad opportunities in local area.
    1. Blogs/Expat sites/Free community boards etc.
  2. Contact local businesses.
    1. Office buildings/shops that may display a poster or send an email to employees on our behalf.
  3. Contact local University SUs (dependent on client customer base).

Stage 3 - 2 weeks before start date/when visits are added to the system:

  1. Monthly Marketing email.
    1. In the monthly email, advertise the new client/visits
    2. Sent to all assessors.
  2. If needed - SE to specific locations.
    1. Same as above but for local areas, depending on where the monthly email would fall in the timeline
  3. Trainee’s email.
    1. A ‘Welcome to HGEM’ email for Trainees in the area.
    2. This will advertise the new client but also remind them to complete the trainee quiz.
  4. Refresh Socials
    1. With visits on the system, a new post on socials/Assessor News Feed welcoming the new client.

Stage 4 - if we are still struggling after the start date:

  1. Identify paid ads/local newsletters/bloggers/expat sites - anyone that can offer an affordable ad.
  2. Target specific locations via Facebook posts/location specific system emails etc.

Tracking:

  1.  Initial numbers.
  2. At end of each Stage 1-3.
    1. Number of applications received.
    2. Number of assessors in location.
    3. Number of assessors in postcode (where applicable).
  3. If Stage 4 required.
    1. Monthly figures.
